 COLLEGE DAILY PRAYER

Almight God our Creator

teach us to embrace the beauty of your creation

and respect the dignity of our humanity.

Guide and lead us in our learning adventure;

And nurture within us the longing for a better future.

Lord takes us from where we are to where we should be;

And open the eyes of our hearts to see

the sweetness of being with thee.

Unlock our minds to your prudence and wisdom,

and use our learned trades to better our homes.

'To Live is to Serve' is the path of our service.

Bless our school, and help us to do our best

in every given task with all our strength.

With the aroma of your love heal our fragility,

and make us the pillars of our beloved country.

O Lord, keep Tonga our sweet home, beautiful and free.

Community Programs in Tonga

Special Community Projects,  2011:

1) 'free loaves of bread' are distributed once in every month to more than 100 houses in an 'undisclosed location' in Tonga by Father Sione Lemeki & his team

2) A community group known as kalapu 'a 'Hala Vave' comprises of between 50 to 60 families at Kolomotu'a, have cultivated 7 acres of land, known as 'toutu'u'.  The land has  been offered with no charge to be utilised by SNM from the family of the late Sione Maea Taukolonga.   It is right at the 'hub' of Nuku'alofa - Kolomotu'a (Hala Hihifo).  In return for utilising the land, the kalapu 'Hala Vave' will donate part of their harvest known as 'tauvao' to SNM.   All donations of this type are appreciated and will be generated to develop other community programs.
